Thursdays from 6:00 - 9:00
Dates: Eight Weeks beginning April 18, ending June 6.

The focus of this course is for students to create personal surface imagery and pattern on ceramic forms using painting methods, carving techniques, color inlay, stenciling, and painting techniques. Discussions and demonstrations will be centered on developing different forms using simple hand building and slab techniques. Students will concentrate on compositions, pattern development, color palettes, and different decorative techniques. This course is directed for students who want to cultivate a relationship with pattern and imagery as it relates to form, function, and overall surface design. This class is hands on. Come prepared to get dirty and make work!

Class fee includes 25 pounds of clay. Additional clay will be available for purchase as needed (All clay prices include firing and glaze materials). A basic tool kit will be available for purchase on the first day of class for $12. You are also welcome to bring your own tools.
Classes also come with 8 FREE HOURS of Open Studio time to be used during open studio hours that fall within the duration of your class! More details about this on the first day of class.
Please note a minimum of 4 students is required for classes to run. If you’ve enrolled and we don’t reach 4 students you will be issued a full refund or credit toward a future class. If you sign up and then are unable to attend any of your class sessions there are no available refunds or make up days. Please email if you have any questions about classes or enrollment.
