We have so many one and two day classes planned for November and December and you can sign up beginning October 17th at 10:00am. Take a holiday special or a wheel throwing classic on your own or with a friend. All class descriptions are currently online on our classes tab!

who we are
Petaluma Pottery is a community clay studio in Petaluma, CA offering multi-week and one day clay classes for both adults and kids, intensive workshops, private lessons, team buildings, and parties, studio memberships, and art events and markets!
Our studio is run by a dedicated team of talented potters and craftspeople and we are connected to our founder’s tile and pottery production studio FLM Ceramics. We are offering classes for all levels that focus on both functional and sculptural ceramics and encompass a variety of techniques that teach craftsmanship, foster creativity, serve as a great social outlet, and enrich lives.

Nestled in the Warehouse District near downtown Petaluma, our community studio is a thriving hub of potters, sculptors, and artists.
We offer classes, workshops, open studios, studio memberships, and community events and markets.
Take a class or workshop
Whether you've worked in clay for years or are a complete newbie, we can help you get started! Check out our current class and workshop schedule. Classes typically either run 8 weeks and meet one day a week and give you a broader overview of the subject matter while workshops are 1, 2, or 3 day intensives with a more narrow focus of study. Come ready to get your hands dirty!
